Антон If this track was a work of art, it would be like Daniel Buren's empty gallery rooms, rather than, say, the Gioconda.
If you ever heard Kontext's (aka Dissident's) interviews you would gather that what he does is inspired by (and consequently enthused with) such thick layers of meaning that you sometimes wonder who the hell he is. I tend to just blame it on him being from St. Petersburg :)

Microfunk Crew’s track "Kitchens" found a new sonic form in this bedroom remix by Kontext. Released on Microfunk Extended, the track is endowed with vivid syncopated drums from the very beginning. Layers of lush dub textures dive deeper into the murky atmosphere, whilst shaking post-garage rhythms keep the listener surfing the vibe.

The whole music canvas retains the label's unique and easily recognizable style. The ambient drones perfectly match the vinyl crackle, revealing the aesthetics and intelligence of the sound.
